Concerts For Seniors

Texas Winds believes that music brings inspiration, peace and relief from serious cares to confined seniors. Using music, humor and education, performers nurture a caring environment, awaken fond memories and alleviate loneliness.

While our musicians provide first-rate entertainment, their greater aim is to strengthen morale and improve quality of life for their audiences by sharing love, affirming seniors’ dignity and allowing them to feel special, not forgotten.

Concerts are given in nursing homes, assisted living, and Alzheimer’s facilities; adult day care centers and sheltered workplaces for the disabled; retirement homes, subsidized senior apartments and senior centers. We serve 275 venues in North Texas.

Concerts for Hospice

Individuals confined to their home, nursing home room, or hospital room have limited access to Texas Winds’ services.

Concerts for Hospice are designed to comfort these individuals by sharing love and compassion through the nourishment of music.

Newly established by Victor Koszman in memory of his father, Ihor Koszman, these one-on-one programs are offered in nursing homes and hospitals and can be arranged in private homes.

Concerts for Head Start

Texas Winds believes music teaches discipline, problem solving, working with others, and self-expression. As a partner with Head Start, Texas Winds has a unique opportunity to contribute to the early learning environment of preschool children by stimulating their imagination, intellectual curiosity and self-esteem.

As the only arts component of the Head Start curriculum, our MEET THE INSTRUMENTS series enriches the experience of children in their first formal educational setting.

MEET THE INSTRUMENTS educational programs are given in 56 Dallas and Fort Worth Head Start, Mi Escuelita and Child Care Associates Centers, serving a total of 6,250 children.

Concerts for Hospitals

Texas Winds believes that music brings inspiration, peace and relief from serious cares. It is the purpose of this program to help and comfort hospitalized Veterans and others by sharing love and compassion through the nourishment of great music.

Texas Winds musicians provide a caring environment, improving the morale and well being of patients, family members, doctors, nurses and hospital staff.

Concerts are given in Dallas County hospitals and in Dallas and Fort Worth branches of the VA North Texas Health Care System.
